Nicole whisenhunt

As I attended last weeks sneak preview of my friend Nicole Whisenhunt’s latest jewelry line, I could not help but be blown away.  Apart from her unique collection, is a passion in this young woman’s heart and mind about her craft that is both intriguing and endearing.  You will notice it on each piece she thoughtfully creates.

It was an intimate gathering of rosè and pass arounds, pleasant and informative conversations—my kind of afternoon.  And here, we were able to view her line thoroughly and learn more about the inspiration behind it.  Having one of her statement pieces will set you apart and definitely be a conversational piece.

Poetry In Roses is an ensemble of contemporary, poetic pieces in modern silhouettes celebrating the stylish mèlange of romance and shadows.  The collection infuses jewelry tones in a seductive medley of rhodium plated gold, white gold and black diamonds.  The South Sea pearl is an especially chosen gem as the pearl is the symbol of unblemished perfection, giving that somber but meaningful mood to the collection.  Poetry In Roses presents all these in immaculate harmony with the use of contemporary minimalism and womanly details.  It is feminine and romantic yet strong and modern-day.

The inspiration

“He called her a melon, a pineapple, an olive tree, an emerald and a fox in the snow all in the space of three seconds…he did not know whether he had heard her, tasted her, seen her or all three together.”

Orlando, Virginia Woolf
