Let’s drink to that!

I wanted my blog to evolve into other areas encompassing lifestyle. Apart from food, I have always wanted to have a beverage element. There are lots of good beverages out there, but many of my readers and followers like to have happy hour and enjoy on weekends. (I do, too!) So I decided to sell what I enjoy, and that’s gin. Gin doesn’t react like hard alcohol, but it’s a fun, neat head; the perfect fun beverage.

Iron Balls: Why this particular gin?

I chose to have partners in this endeavor, who (like me) enjoy chilling on the weekends with their families. We chose to bring Iron Balls gin into the Philippines, because it’s a cool drink that is distilled fantastically. Flavor-wise, it’s tropical, and has a flavor profile reminiscent of our own local fruits. Since it’s distilled in Thailand, it is wonderfully Asian (which I like). Interesting fact: the design of the bottle is by Ashley Sutton, an architect who likes going out to sea; it’s designed ergonomically so that it doesn’t tip over, like when one brings it on a boat!
