We experienced a different kind of happy hour at Dusit Thani’s UMU restaurant. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long week, with one of my oldest friends. UMU has a Japanese style happy hour every Thursdays and Fridays. I thoroughly enjoyed this unique experience as everything served, was Japanese, of course.
For only Php 1,600 net, you can enjoy an unlimited spread of delicious sushi, sashimi, ebi tempura, and perfectly grilled teppanyaki dishes prepared right before you.
No happy hour would be complete without some spirits to make one “happy”, ha ha. Drink to your hearts content with an assortment of free flowing local beers, hot and cold sake, and cocktail sake. My bff had some hot sake, while I had the cold, and together, we had a blast. It was a perfect way to end our week.
Happy Hour is all year round. Every Thursdays and Fridays, from 6p.m. to 8p.m.

UMU actively supports the fight against world hunger. They enforce a clean plate policy that charges for leftover food. Head on over to Dusit,s UMU for a new take on your happy hour! Have a great week, everyone.
