Finally! Talks of Din Tai Fung opening in Manila are no longer an urban legend but now a reality. This favourite of many the world over sits happily at the Upper Ground Floor of SM Fashion Hall, Megamall. DTF bigwigs have given their trust and approval to the dynamic Moment Group. Eliza Antonino, Managing Partner of The Moment Group says that she and her staff trained in the DTF headquarters in Taiwan for six months. I say, it’s paid off! Everything was fresh, meticulously prepared and delicious. Their commitment to quality and service are excellent.
They have all their popular and most loved dishes on the menu, with some items made just for Filipino’s like a chicken version of the sweet and sour pork, crispy beef strips, hot prawn salad, fried chicken cutlets and desserts such as golden lava salted egg yolk bun and chocolate lava xioa long bao. Mr. Warren Yang, Owner and Chairman of Din Tai Fung says they are not looking to expand just yet so that the quality of the Megamall branch can really be established and maintained first.
