Smoked Salmon With Dill Pasta is easy to prepare, great for lazy weekends and full of flavour. It only needs a few basic ingredients. The important thing is to use very good cooking cream and the freshest dill. Serve with a good white wine and you’re all set.
Smoked Salmon With Dill Pasta Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 small onion (chopped finely)
- 1/4 cup green peas (frozen and thawed)
- 150-200 grams smoked salmon
- fresh dill
- 1 cup good quality cooking cream (I use elle and vire or emborg)
- salt and pepper to taste (I use himalayan or sea salt for ALL my cooking needs, as it’s the healthier alternative)
- good quality spaghetti noodles (for about 2-3 persons)
Procedure
Sautè onion in olive oil till almost brown, but not burnt. Then add in green peas, smoked salmon and dill. Stir gently for about a minute, then pour in cream. Stir, then season with salt and pepper (according to your desired taste). Boil once then remove from heat.
While sautéing your pasta sauce, make sure you have your separate pot wherein your noodles are boiling. Put some oil and salt in the water before you boil it, and drop noodles in when water is boiling. Make sure your noodles are just al dente and not overcooked. Once pasta is cooked, drain and toss in the salmon cream sauce. Serve immediately w freshly grated parmesan cheese.
BUON APPETITO!
