A week ago, a friend of mine took me to this quaint shop in Parañaque. Much to my surprise, there was this little bridal boutique with a concept all its own. As we entered, we were asked to remove our shoes, while they handed us white disposable slippers that were as clean and white as the shop. It picked my curiosity instantly, and suddenly, I had a dozen questions. My friend then introduced me to a pretty, fair and delicately figured lady named Anna, the owner of the shop. Anna told me what the concept of their shop was and that she co-owns it with her two sisters, but is the one running it. By the time I was done taking pictures and asking her questions, I deemed it to be a one-stop-shop for bridal wear and needs. I was also wondering why they’re so far! Clearly, there is a demand for this sort of shop and with todays working lifestyle, The Bridal Room is perfect for the busy Filipina.
Behind the brand; Anna says, “she left her career in finance in Hong Kong to return to the Philippines and create something she can be proud of with her sisters”. Hence, most of the gowns come from Hong Kong and other parts of Asia. Mica Tantuico is a fashion merchandiser for various brands, and brings her expertise into this thriving business of theirs. Raisa Tantuico-Vargas, architect and mother, helps her sisters realize their collective vision as the overall creative director, brand designer and interior decorator of the store.
The Bridal Room carries two main collections of high quality, ready-to-wear wedding gowns. The Blanca and Celeste collections. The Blanca is a showcase of handpicked wedding gowns sourced around Asia and are from as low as Php25,000-50,000. While the Celeste collection offers French-designed couture gowns ranging from Php 50,000-110,000. “We carry several sizes per style in limited quantities, ensuring a size and style for every bride, without the hassle of pre-ordering. We also offer in-store alteration, customization and consultation services to help each bride tailor their gowns. In addition to that, we have entourage gown packages too, with various accessories to complete the entire bridal experience”, says Anna.
The Bridal Room is located at the Mezzanine Floor, JJACC Building, 169 Aguirre St. BF Homes, Parañaque.

I was just there today. I’m the bride and I felt like shit afterwards. I’m a size 14. But my wedding is in 17 months. I still have time to lose weight. But, evertime I would admire a dress, she would always say, “Yes maam, but its a size 6”. Mind you! Every dress I said was nice. Even when I kept saying na may diet na nga ako soon. Parang she was saying, na ummmm I don’t think so. When you are a wedding dress consultant, you should always make the bride feel beautiful. Remember, brides come in all shapes and sizes. Also, I already have 2 kids. It’s not like I don’t know that I’m fat. I’ve never felt so shitty and fat like I did today.
I don’t do fillers but you may contact any Belo clinic nearest you check out @belobeauty on ig. I like their facials & machines to lift and tighten the skin.
That’s sad. So it means pala their collection is quite limited in terms of sizes pala. I mean, if they offer RTW/rentals, they should have all sizes available di ba?
Wala ba? I liked what I saw when I went but are you saying they have limited sizing for most gowns?
